Wings win, Hank with the hat trick, you know the drill. It's also our future captain's birthday, so here's hoping he gets some cake before the game. Or after would probably be better. I bet he carbo-loads before games.

That's what makes this so hysterical to me. Perry is the "enforcer" and Pavs is the finesse guy, but Perry got his taint handed to him. Watching the video of the fight, I couldn't stop laughing.

We had trouble beating those teams last season -- a good team beats the s*** teams. That way you can afford a loss or two to the really good teams and it won't kill your season.

I concur. I'm very impressed with this squad so far. Granted it's only the first period of the first game, but it gives me great hope for the rest of the season.

Jesus. I can't imagine how terrified the guys on the ice must have been or even the people watching the game at home/in the arena.
