I look at it this way -- even if I could afford Center Ice (which I can't), the only TV it would be on is in the family room, and I that TV is always occupied by either one of my parents or my sister. So I wouldn't be able to watch it anyway. Streams online are better; I can watch them in my room, on my computer and not have it be a hassle to anyone. -

There's a difference between rooting for the Hawks like they do the Wings and wanting them to win because it's the least disagreeable option.

I'm over this already, to be honest. No one thought we'd make it as far as we did, so that alone should be an accomplishment, given how we started the season. We could have done better of course, but we just didn't have it this year. Shake it off, enjoy the summer and come back ready for bear in September. It's the best you can do. I've got baseball to keep me plenty occupied sports-wise this summer, so I'll be having a good time regardless.

Seeing as I don't currently pay to watch NHL games, I will continue not paying to watch NHL games. -

If you took the time to read between the lines, you'd see that people are responding predicated on the Wings being eliminated before then. Meaning, if the Wings aren't going to be playing for the Cup, who would you want to/like to see win it. I doubt very seriously people are responding that they'd like Boston to win over Detroit. Come on now.

I didn't think we'd get swept. We're too good to get swept, regardless of how we've been playing in the series thus far. I guess what I meant was, while last night's game was absolutely fun to watch -- our job isn't done. If we're really going to climb out of this hole, we need to keep it up.

If we lose Game 5, no one will give a damn what we did in Game 4. It's a long row to hoe, I hope the Wings know that.
