There are 7 games in a series, you are correct. We've also lost three in a row and have to pull off a Red Sox-style comeback ( ) in order to win this series which is nearly impossible. Face facts -- this team isn't nearly as good as we want ourselves to believe it is. They got this far after everyone and their brother thinking they'd never even make the playoffs, so for this alone they should be commended. But come on, even realism has its place in sports.

All of them are the reason we're down 3-0. You win as a team, you lose as a team. The refs definitely aren't helping. And blaming Crosby is fun, no matter what it's for, so throw him in too.

God, we can't lose on Thursday. If he's going to retire at the end of the season I don't want his last game on home ice to be the coup-de-grace that knocks us out.

Last time I saw the Wings get swept was 1995 in the Cup finals. Wasn't that joyful. At least that happened in New Jersey. I feel bad for the fans who paid money to see this train wreck.

I've said it once, I've said it a dozen times. When Bud Selig understands the need for officials (umps) to be held accountable and for a system to be in place to insure right calls are made when necessary......and Gary Bettman doesn't.......that's a problem. Selig is a ******* moron but even a stopped clock is right twice a day. With Bettman, the hands fell off. -
The only thing that would make a Wings victory tonight that much sweeter is a Pens loss. f*** the Penguins and f*** the NHL for good measure.

Nope, I'm afraid this is all my fault. Usually before games, I spin around three times in my room, screaming the lyrics to I'm Too Sexy by Right Said Fred and the last two games, I spun around twice. My bad, folks. I'll do better for Game 3. -
