I think had the Wings just been blown out, people would be pissed and move on. This game was TOTALLY in the hands of the refs.

(re-post) People here know I don't blame the reffing when we lose but this was ******* atrocious. I mean, beyond atrocious. The sad thing is, Bud Selig understands that umps need to held accountable when they make a habit of blowing calls and will suspend them. Will Gary Bettman punish refs who are consistently behind the 8-ball? f*** no, that would require actual effort!

I normally don't blame the reffing when we lose, because 99% of the time we either got outplayed or got in our own way........but the refs IN THIS INSTANCE absolutely influenced this game and that's a crock of horses***.

You're a Crosby fan and you're saying Ovechkin is a whiner? That's a little ironic, don't you think? Furthermore, what does the fact that Ovechkin is Russian have to do with anything? His nationality or continent of origin should have no bearing on whether he's good/bad or liked/disliked.

People can think Crosby sucks if they want to, it has no bearing on your life or the lives of anyone else here. Until the admin says that you have to think Crosby is the greatest in order to post here, well.......your pronouncement will just have to go unheeded. You'll get over it.

LOL, no. My dad doesn't get drunk in front of women. If he's out with his buddies, that's one thing; but if I'm there or my mom is there or my sister is there, he won't. He'll have maybe a couple and then go straight to Pepsi or something.

Well, isn't that precious. Though there are s*** fans like that everywhere. I got accosted by many a drunk Blackhawks fans at Wings/Hawks games with my dad. Doesn't mean they were all like that.

Then why does he own nearly all our team's goaltending records? If he sucked, he wouldn't have them. And please don't give me the hackneyed excuse that he's a "stats compiler". He's good at what he does and he's been good at what he does for a long time, so naturally he's going to be advancing in statistical categories. It doesn't even make sense, this "stats compiler" excuse. -
I wouldn't root for Tampa if Steve took a job there. I'm a Red Wings fan, not a Lightning fan. I would hope he's successful because I wouldn't wish him to fail, but it's not like I'd turn around and be their biggest fan ever.
