In order for there to be a conspiracy, there needs to be competence. If you can tell me with a straight face that the NHL brass is competent, you should take those skills to Vegas and bluff your way to a couple million bucks.

If only that were the reason. He's always like this. Apparently to him if you don't spend all day glued to your TV/computer watching the game, you're not a real fan. It's really aggravating because I try to watch as many games as my limited financial and time constraints allow me and I think it's really rude to insinuate you're a better fan than someone else over something so stupid and trivial.

I think it's funny that mindfly thinks he can criticize me, when he never has anything nice to say about the Wings, even when they win. Guess what, Sparky? I have a life that revolves around more than just sports. I'm not going to stay up late and end up tired all day. I've got too much to do. Other people may be able to manage it well, but I can't. That doesn't make anyone else a better fan than I am.

I was too tired to stay awake to watch the whole game, needless to say I'm extremely disappointed in how the game ended up. I thought we played really well in the 1st and was hoping they would continue that for the rest of the night. We better play 100x better than this in Game 2.

The only reason the Coyotes nearly sold out this game was because they're playing the Wings, and the Wings have a large fan base across the country, but especially out west. Take the Baltimore Orioles in baseball for example. They can't sell out most home games, but if the Yankees or Red Sox come to town, it's standing room only. Both teams have large fan bases and will make the trek to see their games, no matter where they're playing. It's not really a surprise.

Well, I'm about to drop from exhaustion; I had a very long day. I hate west coast games, and that goes for both my sports teams. Ugh. I hope the Wings do well in my absence and just be on the safe side, I'll be listening to Pink Floyd while I sleep for extra mojo.

Can't really argue about the game thus far, I must say. We look good, and we're winning. That's always a great combination. I hope we turn up the jets to 200% for the 2nd.
