I've been watching for the 50-win season. I believe it would be the 5th season in a row. IIRC, Babcock is one of a few coaches who have had four 50-win seasons (in a row?), but no one has had five. They can do it if they really buckle down on the consistency.

I was at that game too! My sister got tickets for us off of ebay! We were down in the lower bowl near the penalty box. We stayed to the end and clapped for the Avs as their season ended. We were also at game three with my nephew in the upper bowl. It was so much fun. Those are the only playoff games I've been to. I also got to be there in Dec. for Ozzy's 400th win. What a great night. Ozzy chants all through the game!

I third it! I love going to the games knowing that some other Wing fan will be within high-fiving distance of us when the Wings score. So fun!

Glad you are thinking about getting to the game! It really is fun to go see the Wings play there. There are a LOT of Wings fans that go, so you will not be alone! From my game experiences, I have not had obstructed views. Not to say there aren't, but I've never had any. If you are along the red line or close to center, I'd say those would be great. You'll be high up, but that's to be expected. We have not purchased any group tickets to be with Wings fans specifically, but it seems there is usually someone within high-fiving reach. Parking in the lot is $10, or you can take the light rail in. I have not done that, but am considering it for a game as others have told me it is quite convenient. It really is great to be with so many Wings fans. I was at the game on the 12/27, and it was great to hear the "Let's go Red Wings" and "Ozzie!" chants get going. One of the old Avs radio commentators used to say that of all the visiting team fans, the Wings fans seemed to walk in like they owned the place. I hope you get to go, and GO WINGS!

I was at the game last night and it was great! One of the best Wings/Avs games I have been to. So glad Ozzie got the win. It was fun to join in the Ozzie chants and see the team swarm him on the ice after the game. Go Ozzie! Go WINGS!
