Pavs is such a classy guy. We waited for signatures after the Islanders game and he and Draper were the two players that stopped. Pavs stayed for a while and signed every sweater (or whatever) that was handed to him. He handed out Winnie-the-Poohs to the younger fans and my niece got one. I loved getting a bit more history on him. I, too, got a bit choked up at times as I read the article today (in the freep). Go Pavel!

I was just in town last week. I'd recommend the People Mover also. We saw the HC Shuttle after the game and it looked pretty full. I don't know how many runs they make. The People Mover is quick and reliable. Also, we found out where you can go for autographs after the game. If you exit the building at the Gordie Howe entrance, then go down the stairs, you will see an area where people will be waiting. There will be yellow tape and a security guard standing in the area. We had to wait a while, but we got Datsyuk's and Draper's signatures. No one else stopped to sign. Have fun at the game! (We drove from Colorado for the Islanders game and never even got to see them score )

My brother (from IN), my best friend (from MI), and my sister and I with her three kids (from CO) will be at the game. Spring break road trip: Four new player sweaters and other fun stuff from Hockeytown Authentics: $700. Tickets for the game: $430. Over 1300 miles (one way) in the mini-van: ugh.
