Well at least for the marketing it would be a good think, cuz for the competition i guess they couldn t do much worse. Montreal is the typical team out in the 1st round of the playoffs. I can t see them getting better with the players they have. +having an identified core which fits with your identity could only help them. For example this year, what was the point to recruit these tiny players? I don t get it...

Montreal is just a joke right now. They have no identity at ALL! C'mon Plekanec, Halak, Markov, Gionta, Gomez, Kostytsin,....... Should they not try to keep a canadian boy who could de worth a cent? I m of course aware that our leaders come not really from michigan too, but i just feel it is really really something wrong with Montreal. For us it s not really something new as we had already the russian five for example. What do you think? do you have the same feeling as me?

The results since the olympic break make me think it would be nice to face either the Hawks or the Sharks. This is the last 17 games so their record is definitively relevant. Unfortunately i can see us facing either the Nucks or the Yotes, two of the hottest teams in the league.. -

When will they occur for each of our players up to you? I think Bertuzzi should be signed soon, as Helm. I suppose that for Abdelkader, Eaves and Miller, Holland will wait till the end of the playoffs..

With the glut of 3rd/4th liners that we already have (Draper, Eaves, Helm, Abdelkader, possibly Maltby next season, possibly Miller re-signed, the youngsters pushing (Mursak, Tatar), and the newcomers during the off-season i don t see a roster place for him next season and possibly ever. He was ok, but keep in mind his just average stats in AHL. This is the Wings. We won't line up forever under average skaters for ever.

There is a glut of players particulary on offence, pretty much like last year in smaller proportions. Last year KH was unable/unwilling to get something out of this. It will not be easy, but i think he could get something in return this year (more precisely in a multi-players deadline deal acquisition)
