Conz is not so impressive in the swiss championship. Hiller was better at his age. I would be surprised if he would be drafted next year. By the way guys, any of you have a stream link for the WJC? Pleaaaaaase
-
yeah because shipping cost a lot for him only for one jersey.. how much did you pay for one jersey? Will you be kind enough to post pics when you ll have it? I ve posted pics from the vintage detroit jersey i ve received and it was great, but i m a bit afraid with the normal jersey, the logo seems strange, like smaller...
-
thnaks yzerman, that s exactly what i ve done. Like i ve said before, i ve ordered 5 jerseys from jack and then (now) 9 (for lot of friends). How much was the price for you per jersey? shipping included he made 42$ per jersey for me.
-
C'mon guys no answer?
-
Hi guys! I ve just received the Probert jersey from Jack and it s great of course. Some pics: Very important question guys: i ve ordered 5 jersey to jack for 210$ so 42 each including shipping. I will soon order around 10 jerseys. For how much did you get yours? I want to know the cheaper they can be! did you try to negotiate with Jack? Thanks for your answer, could be useful for everyone!

They will sign Nylander and then may be dump him when Franzen will be back... if we don t have injuries untill that point..
-
I'm not at all a Kindl homer, quite the opposite in fact. And yes could be fun Laraque beat him wide but wouldn t happen tonight anyway.. I'm highly frustrated with this Kindl, like many of us probably are. I would just see what he can do, and i was stating the obvious saying the managment is not very high on him.. On the other side, i m also frustrated sometimes with the Wings management who seems not to favour always the best players (example: playing Maltby over Abdelkader in the finals), and not also the youth, but only the veteran status..
-
Well, so i hope than in 5 years Kindl will be ready to start! So you don't throw a kid like Kindl when we have injuries, and of course not also when we are stacked.. So a stupid question: when is he supposed to get his opportunity? The management should definitively not be very high on him (=quite low), cuz in the same situation last year, Ericson would have received the call.
-
Wow isn t it a big blow in Kindl's face (another one)

I'm reallly interested to know why there isn t any one of you who don't think Kaberle could be a viable option. Don't forget, we'll have the cap space, next year's market will be quite dry, and we'll have a lot of salary off the books for next year. More important, Holland would be willing to improve our defence and Kaberle would be a great asset. Burke could let him go, and the maple leafs will probably want to have again a 1st round pick. Remember, the Chelios trade wasn t also expected at all...
-
Kaberle. Do you think it s possible?
-
I would also gladly accept a Nylander with half of his cap hit. But if he goes through the reentry waiwers no way there isn t a team who would pick him before us..
-
He can see 9 professional games before being sent down. Thus i'll would bet he'll go in Plymouth after his 8th game
-
they are definitively weaker than in the past

Hi guys! Did anyone has ordered a probie jersey? Has one of you ordered jerseys from europe? how was it with the taxes? How long approximatively it is for the jersey to be received? Thanks a lot!

True. Was Stuart's fault. Poor play by him by the way. Weak game
-
THIS!!! It s damn impossible to stay at the top without any high draft picks. Detroit can lure easily good players via free agency, but certainly not superstars. I'm sure we could have filled Kronwall's spot or Stuart's one via free agency, while you will almost impossibly have a guy like Hedman through free agency. Last year we had almost too much talent. It was the year to trade up, or at least to get picks by trading a part of this talent. Instead of that, we ve lost ton a talent without receiving anything in exchange.. Even if i'm pleased with Bertuzzi' and William' s arrivals, the only thing i can say, is: poor asset management...

Lot of strange replies here. -Kindl won't be a great wings player. At least he hasn t shown anything that could let it think. -Leino at 25 isn t a kid anymore Larson and McCollum both have a shot. I'll go also with a surprising answer: Coetzee!
-
I ve read we were awfully close: 1 spot away!!!! and that the wings had to their plans to draft him
-
I don t agree with your last statement. The contradiction is in what you said. If he had already a total of 54 games last season, do you really think he will see more than that in Toronto? It s almost a safe bet to say no: He will share the duties with Toskala and Toronto for sure won t mak a long run in the playoff if by any chance they can do it. Drake Marcus is right; every goalie has to make a transition, but not because the pace is different or because they will see more games, but mainly because the angles and thus the positionning are different on a bigger surface.
-
Is Helm still a rookie? Van Riemsdyk should definitively be higher, he's gonna be a stud There is also theis St Louis kid who was hurt last season and everyone is praising him...
-
your argument and theory are interesting , but i m sorry they are a little bit off-topic in my eyes... No doubt that the most part of the draft picks are NA players but what does it have to do with quality of a league? So, you re meaning that a bunch of 18 years old players all for the most part better than an adult professional league such as Finland, Sweden or Switzerland championship? Sorry but i don t buy that..At this point, your argumentation does not prove that the AHL could be better than these leagues. I ll tell you facts now: -The average budget of the swiss clubs are about 7-8 millions. A club like Zurich who has beaten Chicago has about 15-20 mil budget. -The best players of the AHL who are no more prospects and can't make it to the NHL are heading to Europe, reinforcing thus the level of the european leagues and weakenng so the level of the AHL -Even borderline 4th liner/AHL player will head to Europe, cuz they can make here more money than the NHL league minimum -There is a lot more move into the roster of AHL's teams and i do think the strategy, the cohesion of a european team would be better than a AHL team cuz of this stability -The main european championships are adults league; now for a big part of it AHL is a young guns league There is no doubt about that the potential of the AHL players are far more better than the potential of the european leagues. But considering that as soon as this potential shows up, thhe player is moved up in the NHL, i do think the SEL and SM Liga are better championship in the quality of play than the AHL Thanks by any cases for this discussion Konnan. Interesting PS: you were right about my example, totally a generalization, but still i find it illustrative
-
Ari Sulander not Derek Sulander, one of the best goalie the swiss championship ever had with Thomas Ostlund (for the swedish;) ) , Martin Gerber David Aebischer and Jonas Hiller, and also now Sebastien Caron (ex Anaheim)
-
HAHAHAHA Woohohohohohooh The Hawks spanked by a swiss team! Made my day!!!!! PS: this is one reason why to call the AHL the second best league in the world (even if it isn t of course the swiss league neither) is laughable.. I ve said it in a topic yesterday i think, and then some douchebags told me i m an ignorant and totally dumb..
-
I ve also studied political science, that s why may be this concern interest me, and it was funny as i was just watching this clip and then read esteef post. To tell the truth not a lot of europeans would be also capable to know where is the Michigan or where is the Iowa on a map... @Esteef: i ve watched this game on the swiss television and yes the Hawks are dickheads (indeed) but nice goal by Kane.
