I wouldn't put too much stock into the ice being s***ty. Obviously, it isn't the best, but when compared to Reunion Arena. It's heads and shoulders better than the last time you guys played us this time of the year. I remember all the extra s*** they brought into Reunion to try to suck some humidity out haha. I miss that place. Anyways, the AAC has world-class type AC and all of that kinds of stuff. It wont be perfect, but not s***ty, either.

It is the ignorant making these statements. I guarantee you there would be some of the same here if things werent going the way they are. In the world of message board fandom: 1.When the team is winning: Everything is perfect. No one can beat us. Sweep. How did they make the playoffs? SC. When is the SC parade? Do I need to get there early? 2. When the team is losing: Switch the lines up. It's over. Conspiracy. Cheating. Look at their crowd. How did we make the playoffs? Do we need to revamp the front office? Do we need a new captain? That guy? He sucks. I cant believe he plays in the NHL. Maybe NHL 08. It's hard to be surprised by what goes on.

Well, all in all it's another loss. We looked better for sure. I don't know what factor it was that made us flat in game one, but it wasn't there tonight. Congrats to the Wings on another win. We had some great chances to make a run of things throughout, but it just didn't happen for us. And, you guys closed the door just like I figured you would. Now, I know this is going to be the touchy subject of this game as was us being "tired" in game one. Riberio. I dont and will never believe what Osgood did was an accident, but that was not the proper reaction to it. He took what could have been a cheap shot out of the hands of Osgood, and one up'd him with one of his own. He shouldn't have done that, but Osgood was being quite the Thespian, as well. You can not tell me a slash where he didnt even reach back for full swinging motion and strikes him to where it looked to be the chest/shoulder area...an area that is peppered by pucks on a nightly basis caused that much damage to Osgood. I understand just about everyone in the NHL would have "acted" the same way Osgood did if they were struck as well. Bottom line is Riberio shouldn't have done it. Suspensions? Well, Riberio one game. Osgood one game. Im sure thats gonna make some people here pretty crazy. But, try to see it from someone elses view. That whole situation warrants two people being suspended. Anyways, again congrats on the win. Your boys shut us down when they needed to and the PP was big again for you guys. Heres to taking care of business at home.

I agree. He should not have hit him with his stick. He should have gotten in his face and shoved him or even wrestle him to the ground(he would have been mauled by everyone in red haha). I dont condone his actions. I can see there being suspensions and not. Either way we need to score haha.

We've been wearing black the entire playoffs. I cant tell you how many times I've read the less than humor jokes in here. After home game one in round one our "blackouts" have failed anyways.

Well, we got whooped. Im not quite sure what team boarded the plane to Detroit, but it sure wasn't the Dallas Stars. We looked like an adult instructional league all night long. We have got to stay out of the box. 3 powerplay goals? Seriously? What the heck happened to our penalty kill. I know one of the came on a 5-on-3(which shouldn't have been IMO), but still...unacceptable. Not to mention our powerplay hardly occupying the offensive zone. Top to bottom we were outplayed. We looked tired(i dont know why), and just flat-out uninterested. We need to come out game two and play Stars hockey. With the heart and grit we've come accustomed to seeing. That was bush. Although, I think it's silly some of you guys here and over on our board are talking sweep. On a side note, I know this has probably been beaten to death already, but where in the heck did ya'lls fans go? Is there a bar or something in the arena( I know thats where alot of our folks go). I was expecting it to get better and it never did. Well, here is to a better game two.

We have some of the same problems here in Dallas...well, except for the economy one. Lower bowl and suites are heavily corporate owned. There will be patches of empty seats(usually in 4's) and completly empty suites. It's embarrassing. I wasn't trying to rip on you guys for having low attendance, because i can promise you we will have empty seats, too. I was just wondering what factors went into it. I figured alot were in the concourse. Also, I read that just getting to the arena(construction, parking) is a hassle. And, that there is only one entrance to the arena? Is this true? That sucks if it is.

haha Im in a no win situation here. Whatever I say will be eventually quoted with a 5 paragraph response telling me why im wrong from someone. If we all thought alike this world would suck. I am not one of you. But, I understand what you're saying.

If we had played the same opponent then that would be relevant. I was not bashing your team or players. I was merely stating that the way we played was bush league. And, I think it's silly to talk sweep of anyone. I dont care how good your team is. You're right, we were up 3-0 on San Jose and yes it did take 4 OT's to put them away. But, we put them away. Just like Detroit put away Colorado. The fashion in which it's done does not matter. Just like what Franzen did in the earlier rounds no longer matters. As far as im concerened, he's scored one goal so far.

I was comparing captains. Not what they do/have done. I suppose the comparision was spot on.

haha we let San Jose force a quadruple overtime? San Jose has world-class talent, much like Detroit. It easily could have been San Jose's series from the getgo. Heart and grit is why we won. You speak of San Jose as if they were Nashville...oh wait. (im sorry i had to.)
