Awesome show. Hope to see the NHL come to an agreement right away. Teams seem to be pretty profitable and in a lot better shape than in 04'. The NHL seems to be growing a little bit which probably will make it easier for another agreement.

It was the right decision. I don't know the exact rules but it was clear Z was not pushing him into the boards. There are a lot of hits like that that go under review and don't get punished.

Remember the trade for Stuart at the deadline? I think it was just picks. Great move. If we can get something like that at the deadline they should go for it but the roster is consistently getting better for the playoffs. I can't tell if they have what it takes to make it past the second round yet.

I was just looking at this. They really need to win these games. I've been looking at if they can make it to the western conference finals beating a tough second round opponent. I really couldn't tell yet. They look better than last year so far but it's close. The next couple games are going to be exciting.

He can score 30 goals a season basically. I think that's what they need so they don't come up flat in the playoffs. The current top 6 forwards look good and have a lot of playoff experience so trading one of them might screw something up in the playoffs. Their problem this year seems to be offensive zone turnovers which could mean they aren't skating fast enough or they're making bad decisions. I guess they could trade a current player for one that handles the puck better in the offensive zone.

Detroit needs a forward with speed. Probably Ryan would be a good fit but trading someone for him would almost be stupid. It would have to be some Grand Rapids players and draft picks.
