I just don't think the Wings would have signed him to a 1 year trial contract if we weren't planning on using him in the NHL. Maybe if we signed him to like a 2-year contract he would play in the AHL. Does anyone know if he has a 2-way contract?

CuJo blows... Osgood is solid. I don't think we will be moving him anytime soon. Jimmy Howard will be brought up next year to get some NHL experience and then replace Osgood when he retires in 3 years.

I don't think we would have resigned Osgood if we were planning on moving him.... I would rather have Osgood in net that trust a new goalie right away though. Keep Osgood for now, and let Jimmy get some backup time.

Yeah I have a few other videos on my youtube account you can check out. I am in the works of making a Red Wings 2008 Stanley Cup victory video assuming that will be the outcome LOL....if not then I will change it around so that its just the best highlights of the playoffs.

LMAO yes this is a bummer...I would rather have him stay rested for the Finals though. I am confident we can pull off the sweep without him though. It might just not be another 8-2 blowout game like the game 4 of the Avs though.

I am only 18 so mine grows in pretty dirty, so I shave my in between each rounds. I shave right after the round ends and then the morning before. Its worked so far... My beard is more impressive than Crosby's, although thats not saying much.

WOW what a tool. Its not like Osgood jabbed at him with the butt end. HE DIDN'T EVEN PUT ANY FORCE INTO IT! He just raised the end of his stick so it would clip Rebeiro. When you two-hand someone, you don't have a lot of control over where you are aiming. Rebeiro could have easily slashed Ozzie right in the neck. Retaliations are always worse than the initial incident IMO, since you are trying to outdo what the other guy just did.

I think people need to realize that every team is the victim of bad reffing at one point or another. The Wings are classy enough and disciplined enough not to take dumb penalties, and other fans don't understand why their team is getting all these calls while the Wings aren't.

Samuelsson should not be a 2nd liner. He hasn't done much to prove himself this year IMO. It should look more like this: Datsyuk | Zetterberg | Holmstrom Cleary | Franzen | Filppula Hudler | Draper | Helm Maltby | Leino | McCarty Lidstrom | Rafalski Kronwall | Stuart Ericsson | Meech Players that should be moved/scratched: Drake, Downey, Kopecky, Lebda, Lilja Chelios and Hasek I assume will retire.

god I hope this is just a rumor....he has obviously been our most valuable player. Luckily we are deep enough where we can win without him though...it just makes everything easier when he is here and he is hot.

He sounds great, but knowing Ken I wouldn't be suprised if he spent a year or two playing for the Griffins.
