What a ****** bag. How can you not respect Lidstrom?

You said it was fighting after legal checks was "higher than ever" when, in fact, about thirty years ago, players fought way more than they do now. I am personally a very big fan of fighting and find it very entertaining. They're just sticking up for their teammates who was just decked. Just my opinion.

Did you watch hockey in the '80s? Back then people fighting was waaay up. over a fight per game. people fought for no other reason than just to fight. and it was entertaining as hell.

How is it ruining the NHL? you can't tell me you weren't entertained by Sammy and Big Rig throwin' punches...

Hossa is easily faster than Zetterberg. He is the fastest player on the Wings and one of the fastest in the league. He also has a better shot than Z. He is very comparable to Z, but I agree, Dats is on another level right now. Probably one of the top 3 or 4 forwards in the league.

Sure women can be nasty but men can be absolutely brutal. I'm sorry but there's no comparison. Watch some highlight videos. A women will NEVER be a NHL player for numerous reasons. Don't kid yourself.

Excellent point. There locker room and problems and the fact that seeing a women brake her nose or bloodied up, as pointed out previously, would be hard to see, I think that sports should stay gender-specific in the top tiers, especially physical sports such as hockey and football.

This is probably THE worst idea I've EVER heard regarding the NHL, or anything now that I think of it. I would stop watch hockey if that were to ever happen. I'm glad that this will probably never happen though. I can't begin to explain how bad of an idea this is. Honestly, I hope you're joking.

The reason the blocked shots was 15-2 after the first was because we were taking way way more shots. The reason is fairly obvious. Check the shots after the first and you'll see.

Well he sure learn the other stuff so he's at least half way decent. I know plenty. And yeah, that's the sad part. He never stands up to people, except on the rare occasion. I was happy too see him stand up to Vandemeer until he got clocked. He needs to learn to use his size. He needs to hit people like he hit Fedoruk Tues., but with more regularity. Not just once every thirty games. Datsyuk is tougher than him and about 4 inches shorter and like 30 pounds? IDK, but anyone who considers Franzen a legitimate power forward is simply wrong. He's a 30 goalscorer. Nothing more, unfortunately...

Hossa has scored 5 goals in his last 3 games. He doesn't need Datsyuk to score. Hell, he scored 100 points on lowly Atlanta few years ago. Of course linemates feed off each other. It's almost impossible not too when you're on the same line.

Kindl's stats GP G A P +/- 32 5 16 21 -6 Ericsson's stats GP G A +/- 24 0 8 5 Ericsson is plus five while Kindl is -6. But +/- is more of a team stat than anything. With the way Kindl's playing should he be called up next year along with Ericsson? Lidstrom-Rafalski Kronwall-Stuart Ericsson-Kindl Or any other combination. Thoughts??

I don't just use stats to determine if someone is outperforming someone else. That's why I used a question mark in the title. I haven't had the benefit of watching the Griffins. Good points though.

Conn Smythe is the best. And yes, 3 Conn Smythes is better than 2 straight Harts.
