I have a year round Wings shrine in the basement. I have the wings Mcfarlane figures, A few autographs(one with Hull, Datsyuk and Zetterberg and one with Lidstrom and Draper). Then I have a couple pennants. A Red Wings Clock I made in wood shop back in high school. A Red Wings logo made for me by a friend, a playoff towel from last year. I add to it whenever I get the chance.

Bad news for sure. I hope he can get healthy enough to play game one!

The fact that not all the games will be easily watchable for everyone with basic cable = epic fail on the leagues part. This is the playoffs!!!! How do they ever expect to be taken seriously when they can't find a way to televise all of their playoff games?

With this bit of info from the freep. Do you expect Franzen will sign before Monday? I'm pretty sure they will get it done. I believe Franzen really wants to be a Wing next year.

I'm with you as far as wanting an enforcer/tough guy on the team but you start to lose me when you start to slam our captain or claim Datsyuk has no heart. Any team in the league would be happy to call Lidstrom their captain. And any team in the league would love to have Datsyuk on their top line. Making such claims weakens your argument.

Great goal but I wouldn't call it the best ever. But fun to watch no doubt.

I can't speak for everyone but when it comes to a possible match up with the ducks I'm not scared that we'd lose to the ducks but rather the toll of the travel and physical play of the ducks on the Wings for the long run. Plus the Ducks are a dirty team that would be likely to throw in a few parting cheap shots on their way out the door. On the other hand I would love to see the Ducks play the Sharks so they can beat each other up and wear each other down. Sometimes getting to the cup is about the path you're given.

How does this ignore work? I understand how to put someone on ignore but seeing as I've never done it, I'm curious what it does. Does it remove the ignored users post from all threads that you view? Thanks for any info on this.
