I received my jerseys yesterday from "Jack" and I'm very happy with the quality. I ordered x-larges and if I could do it over again I would order larges. I got a Datsyuk winter classic jersey and a red Zetterberg jersey. My Datsyuk jersey looks just like the one pictured in scotzman's post. I will not hesitate to use "Jack" for my future jersey purchases.

I would love to see it happen and it is definitely doable. But at this point I'm more interested in the team picking up it's play in their own end!

This is exactly how I feel. Early on I wanted Hossa to stay and Franzen to go but I've come around.

Hopefully it will be official very soon. I'm happy to hear a deal is within reach!

He was a penalty waiting to happen last year in the playoffs so I sure hope he doesn't touch the ice in this years playoffs. It's sad to say but he just doesn't have what it takes now a days.

I use to be leaning towards Hossa staying but after watching Franzen continue to play great hockey all season I'd be very happy to see him stay and Hossa walk. He definitely does not get the credit he deserves but same thing goes for a lot of our players.

I've always thought of Datsyuk as the better player but than I'd be lying if I didn't admit I have some personal bias thrown in there. To me Datsyuk will always be the better overall player but not by much. We are truly gifted to be watching these two players in their prime!

You only read what you want to read. I already said I have no problem with the cap the way it is and that I'm all for all teams being competitive. I also said that it is nice to imagine what if scenarios but you clearly only read the things that help spur an argument because that's all you do in most threads. Just because some one carries an opinion other than yours doesn't always mean they are wrong. As for your "joke", I might of taken as one if you didn't spend so much time preaching to everyone about fiscal responsibility and the evil of credit.(which I don't disagree with you on it just gets old hearing it all the time)

Well it's a cap, you don't have to spend all of the money. If your revenue is down and you can't afford to spend the same as last year you have a choice to off load some of the salary so long as you stay above the floor. The cap going down just complicates things, as you can not plan for the long term. I don't know of any other sport that has a salary cap that goes down. Shoreline I should of know you would take this as an opportunity to ***** about how people spend their money and live off of credit. Don't you get enough of that in the political forum? Comparing pro sports to normal working folks is like comparing Apples and Oranges, it just not the same.

I'm also fine with the cap as it is with the exception of it being able to go down, you shouldn't have to worry about that. I'm all for having other teams being competitive. Just some fun what if scenarios that I'd be in favor of. The Wings will be fine either way, players like to play for this team.

Were you bitching about this in the late 90's? You don't think teams like Pittsburgh would like a soft cap. The Wings are not the only team that would benefit from something like that. But it's really a non point as it won't happen anyways. Fun to dream though!

No problem, I'll deal with it remaining the same as that is what is likely to happen but there is no harm in wishing that you could keep home grown talent at a smaller cap hit. Even if there was a soft cap there is no guarantee teams would want to break it depending on the penalty that would be assessed. I still think they shouldn't have the cap go down though.
