Yeah but if he wants to break the bank he's on the wrong team for that. He has to keep in mind that we have to fill out four lines! If he wants to play for a club that has a shot at winning the cup each year he has to leave money for players like Franzen and Hudler. If he's not willing to leave some money for others on the team maybe Hossa is. -

He played great on those 5 on 3s but that does not make him that much better than Hossa, if at all. Hossa was probably the best player on his team last year. If Hossa will sign for less than Z lets keep Hossa and the depth players like Franzen. -
Last year I though Lilja sucked but I'm starting to come around a little bit. He is definitely not one of the worst in the NHL!! Side note, another great effort by Datsyuk . . . where would we be without him?

The league has to protect their refs and make sure the players know they are off limits. I see no problem with this. -
I actually don't mind bitching either way because threads like these give me something entertaining to read at work. Some very funny posts come out of threads like these.

I'd like to think that the league wouldn't let someone that has been causing a lot of problems/recently suspended in to the ASG. It's a big media day for the nhl and the last thing the league needs is someone like him giving bad publicity and drawing attention from all the Stars of the game that do things the right way. But I don't believe there is anything in writing that would prevent him from playing.

Only thing I'll say about him is that he's a great player and I enjoy watching him play.

Why are so many people playing captain save a ho? If people want to dog Crosby that is their choice, I see no reason to try and tell people they are wrong for hating him and then start dogging our team instead. At the same time I don't see why Crosby gets so much hate, if anything he has helped the game grow in popularity. But if you're hating keep hating cause I find it funny.

I've always liked Pavel. I noticed him his rookie season but tt wasn't until his second year that I became a HUGE fan of his. He had a great game last night, he was everywhere.(Nothing new for Pavel)

Datsyuk is on fire right now!! He never stops amazing me and that is why he's my favorite player! I think he'll lead the team in scoring once again this year.

I'm glad he didn't hang them up. As it's been said already in this thread, he is a class act and the face of the AVS.
