Longtime lurker posting here. I stumbled upon this comment on a CBC sports story comment section. This is not my story, I'm just reposting it here because it made me laugh and I do not remember it being posted here. Sorry if this has already been posted.

My Wings seats are two rows behind the visitors penalty box.
You know how the usher comes down during the opposing penalties? I always clear with him what I am going to yell to razz the opposing player in the penalty box. I got his approval before my voice started to carry on Saturday. It finally paid off, the old standards. I got under Ott's skin the other night. I kept letting him know (without the use of profanity or anything personally derogatory) he was: "a hack on the ice" and "low enough on the team totem pole to take time for the goalie". He turned around and called me a "F-in Homo" (he used profanity) and asked me why I was not down on the ice. I said because I am an old fat guy not a professional athlete and. We jawed for the last 30 seconds of his penalty time. The usher said that was the first time in MANY years he has seen someone react to a fan and the first time he has seen them carry on about it. I think it threw him on the face off with Draper at the end of game 2.
