If they want to keep Smith up they can send Brunnström to GR without putting him on waivers. If the case of Smith staying up I don't think it will be more than one or two more games as there's not much point in having eight defencemen and sitting Kindl and Commodore. Unless Smith plays like hell and wins a spot in top four even with White playing.

Ericsson had an OK game. He had a great pass setting up Bertuzzi for a breakaway. Wings are 6-3-1 in the last 10. Good enough for me.

Certain people here just can't watch a game without complaining. Wings were tired after yesterday's game and I saw this game as a great effort against a desperate team. Ducks really pushed hard the final 30 minutes.

Zetterberg has lost 8 of 9 faceoffs.

This is fourth. This far they've got one win and two losses in the second games of back-to-backs.

Even though their season hasn't gone well Ducks still have lots of skill in their top two lines. They've got points by Selänne, Koivu, Perry, Getzlaf and Fowler just like you'd expect. It's their lack of depth that has hurt them the most I guess.
