Great start for an away game when the biggest thing is to suck the energy out of the home team. Miller just quite didn't touch the puck so it's Abdelkader's goal.

It's great thing for Wings that they have both Commodore and Kindl hungry for playing time and pushing each other.

I'm on the same side of the pond as you and I don't get what's the big deal. Some members of Finnish national team complained about what Persson did but I think this incident will be forgotten soon.

Wings played fine just like the last four games. A balanced attack and solid defence. Some great energy shifts from the third line of Helm, Abs and Hudler. Stars' defencive strategy was to collaps near their goalie which allowed shots from the blue line. That's how Kronner, Stuart and White scored. Datsyuk and Zetterberg played like they have been for a while: contributing in the offense but not quite getting any results. White dived to block the shot on the crease and saved a sure tying goal with his face. No word yet if he'll miss any games. Benn vs. Kindl wasn't much of a fight. Benn landed couple while Kindl mostly hugged and ended up on the ice. Stars were quite frustrated in the end with Burish crosschecking Stuart after a clean but mostly missed hipcheck.

Benn got slashing penalty but not an instigator. Nick was +2, Souray was -2. White saved a sure tying goal (it was still 3-2) with his face. Right after that Wings scored their 4th goal. Wings have allowed only one ES goal during the winning streak. Franzen is the first Wing in about 10 games to have more points than games (16 in 15).

Nothing more yet than the puck hit his face below the right eye and he needed to be stitched up. Babcock was just interviewed and he doesn't know White's status.

I'm content with the fact that our third defencive pair isn't perfect. Stars were leading the league in points per game and Wings won them 5-2. Complaining about anything would just make me feel stupid.

Benn hit Kindl late and also slashed a bit. Just being frustrated. I don't think Kindl was that willing to go but I guess he should've been more ready. Sure.

Stars can't take a loss like grown-ups.

Wings goal differential is 18-4 the past 4 games.
