I agree. I think it's great how steady and calm Conklin is no matter how long he has been without playing.

Okay. I was actually a bit surprised to see that Babcock plays Conklin against Caps. But he was great against Colorado. I still think he's higher than Miller in he depth chart, but with rotation Miller won't get all rusty either.

NHL.com TSN.ca Interesting. Weber's the first star player to have a hearing this season. I can't find a video of the incident so I have no idea if he'll get a suspension. With all the talk about star players getting special treatment this will probably create fuss no matter what Shanahan does. -

So next season there will be McCollum, Pearce and Mrazek. They might not sign a veteran next season for AHL. The 15 minutes McCollum played in the NHL last season might be all he's ever going to get.

I don't hate Ducks as much as I used to either. I actually don't think I hate them at all anymore. Must be because Wings haven't faced them in playoffs for two seasons and they haven't been much of a threat at all. The two playoff serieses in 08-09 and 06-07 were quite emotional to say the least.

After all the panic during the pre-season there's been only one suspension since the start of the regular season. I'm glad if this means that players have already adjusted. Neither have I noticed a drop in the quality of the game that some feared. Could it be that regular season games are more important so players are concentrating more in all aspects of the game which includes keeping your hands down when hitting? -
If I remember correctly the game that Håkan Andersson was the first that Ericsson played as defenseman. Before that he'd been a forward. Andersson liked what he saw and the plan was to have Ericsson as a defenseman from the start. I don't really care if Ericsson's overpayed or not as long his contract doesn't handcuff Wings in the future. He's played OK so they don't have a reason to get rid of him and Wings have lots of cap space for future signings.

It was really a heat-of-the-moment thing. You could see from their faces that they really hate each other. -
How does the "tie breaker" actually work? Is it so that if after the season several players have the same amount of points then the amount of correct "tie breaker" picks decide the order?
