"Earn" is a funny word. He's playing a game and he makes more money in few months than most people see in their whole lives. Oh and I think him and Kindl have been good. I usually have my feet on the ground with my expectations. Ericsson seems to have improved. Or maybe he's just his normal self and the long summer of reading Ericsson and Hudler hate just influenced me a bit.

Datsyuk was the only Wing with -2. Kind of fitting as both of the goals resulted from his turnovers. I'm not saying that he didn't have a good game other than that though. That's Stats Hudler and Franzén lead the team with 4 points in 4 games followed by Datsyuk, Filppula and White with 3 points. Zetterberg leads the team with 20 shots but has only one goal. Stuart and Eaves are the only Wings with at least one game but no points.

Weird and frustrating game. Wild had no shots on goal in the last 10 minutes or so of the second period but it still didn't seem like Wings were controlling the game. I hope White's goal will open things up.

That's true. And I appreciate Asham later admitting that his gesture was classless. Adrenaline can make you do stupid things but not everyone have balls to be humble later on.

Wings have 16 different players with at least one point and 10 different goal scorers. Kindl is +5 and White and Ericsson are +4. Cleary leads the team with 13 shots but has no goals.

I'm very happy for Howard. He's not yet had too many shutouts in the NHL.

Don't. You don't know me. I know how I feel and although all wins feel good winning a hardfought fair game feels better.

Winning a fair game feels much better than a win where the opposition got screwed by refs.

Shots in the 2nd perion 11-3 for DET.

I think Wings were already rusty last week in the two games. The break didn't help them. Quite a many missed passes and misreads, but got little better closer to the end of the period. Quite a "meh" period by two skilled teams waiting for the pther to make a mistake. None of the scoring chances were very exciting, Abdelkader's fight was over in a few seconds and there were no hits to mention. Franzen and Helm both lost 5 of their 6 faceoffs.
