The article means Brunette. He's 37.

Conclusion: athletes should never complain, especially if they are foreign.

Oh, stop it.

Stupid Florida helping them out.

They offered him almost $6 million a year for five years before he had played a single game for them. Quite a hurry they were in.
-
Has to be. Probably during the skill competition or some other activity hence the Wings jersey. I think it was 2007-08 when Osgood and Legace were all-stars.

Typo! Typo!

I think the only rule is that teams have to name one captain and two assistant for each game. No more, no less. I don't think the rules have anything against it if a team wants to have different captains every game.

"Us":

I wonder what he means by this. Who's "us"?

Kabibulin drops DUI appeal, will serve jail time
P. Marlowe replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Like I said, I don't have a solution. Jails are not a good idea, but the best that has been able to put to work this far. Beats the death penalty by a long shot. With what? Just conversating, stating my opinion, blabbering, replying to what Wizard wrote about "a good way to deter repeat offenders". -

Jails aren't there to make the prisoners learn about their mistakes. Of course some of the prisoners do learn, but it's not like North American prisons are packed because all the inmates are first timers. Jails are made to put the wrongdoers away for some time so they won't be able to do wrong during that time. Also there's a good amount of revenge inflicted upon them which to some equals justice. And no, I have no idea of what would be a better solution. Being locked up is quite a sensible way to snap the fingers of people who harm others. -
I would give him the 'A' if it would make him work hard every shift, but I wouldn't give him the 'A' because he doesn't work hard every shift.

Tents, haircuts... What century is this? -
Ooh! Hotness gracious!

I can't find anything wrong with what he's saying there, but I'm sure that someone can.
-
What? That player on the picture? Sure. Just ask Ryan Clowe.
-
But he's injury-prone and European. We can't have soft Europeans running around thinking they own the place. That was already done 200 years ago. OK, that was unnecessary. I think Dats shouldn't be more than an assistant. He leads by example and working hard and 'A' is his chest pushes him to do so even more, but captain needs to be someone who talks to the officials and be a face of the francise. I can't see Datsyuk being the same kind of a personality and influence as Yzerman and Liström while I think Zetterbrg is just that.
-
No, sorry. It was at some point when at least two of Draper, Datsyuk and Zetterberg were injured. Sometime around mid-season(?). Edit: KuklasKorner:
-
Aye. If there will be a rotation he will probably be the third one. He already wore it last year when there were injuries and I read that he's started to become more of a leader on the bench.
-
Whoa, that's two years from now. I can see Howard getting an extension early way before he becomes a free agent. I can see him staying with Wings for many years and becoming much like Osgood was: reliable, rather cheap and good enough. If McCollum improvers a lot he might be the back-up in 2013-14, but if not I can see Wings continue hiring reliable veterans for the job.
-
Sure it happened. I heard that Carter will have scars for the rest of his life, but they're in a place where few can see them. Flyers' physiotherapist who stepped into the shower inadvertently at the wrong time had to take two months off and he's still regularly seeing a psychotherapist.
-
My brothers fiancé told me she'd heard somewhere that there were also drugs and a very odd shower scene involved.

Jason Williams signs 1 year contract with Pittsburgh
P. Marlowe replied to winger30's topic in General
Interesting. I can see that players being overly careful with obstruction and physicality creating a chance for weaker players to be productive. Any more examples than Williams and Cheechoo? -

Does anyone have an explanation of how he got to score 58 points in 2005-06? I was having a break from hockey back then so I didn't see him doing well for once.
