A-effing-men. Yep, he's still paying - the high price of being the best net-front presence in the league. I'm glad that he's still playing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4s9jbW3JhY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTE6IihYY-A

You might be on to something. Christ almighty, can't you read? I already stated that you are entitled to your opinions. Many are agreeing with your opinions. I do agree with you sometimes. It's just that you are expressing your opinions in a prick way, purposedly trying to annoy people.
-
I actually saw that video a year or two ago at some hockey forum. There were some funny comments of it being Crosby's off-season training at Lemieux basement.
-
Silly you. I don't get your attitude. You're entitled to your opinions, but every time you write you're also trying to rile people up. I bet you're blocked by many here. Participating in conversations by being purposedly annoying will end up with you being lonely, old, sad and bitter. Like my grandpa. Few people was sorry when he died. My advice for you old buddy (with hillbilly twang): don't go down that road.

C or D Commodore and White were good signings. Besides that I'm not happy because Holland didn't take advantage of the fact that every player in the NHL wants to play for the Red Wings and with less money they'd get elsewhere. I don't have an opinion on what he should do next. Maybe trade Hudler for a scoring top six forward and buy out Ericsson.
-
The F going on is just normal anxious speculation during off-season when there isn't many hockey news stories around.
-
Why should we know that? Detnews article I find it weird if Osgood is going to announce that he's coming back, but his agent hasn't discussed about any contracts yet.
-
It's always nice to see the players, but I think those commercials looked quite awkward and that they've been made with a tiny budget. I guess the macho-watches weren't selling too well.
-
Sorry, Andy. First I thought that your idea was very interesting, but then... most of the players Wings have ever had on their roster are from Canada, USA, Sweden, Russia and Czech Rep. That's five countries and I'm too lazy to go and count, but it seems to me that there only about 20 players from the other countries. That's why everyone would have players like Boldirev, MacLean, Thomas and Myrvold on their team. Not much variation and room for creativity and opinions. Anyway, here's me top 6: Hasek Rafalski - Lidström Datsyuk - Yzerman - Hossa Maybe I could've had Howe ahead of Yzerman, but I wanted to keep it on players who I've seen playing.

Anything to get the team fired up. That's the sign of a good coach.

"We feel good with the people we have," Holland said

Nevermind. I misread something and already posted an enormously funny joke about it. Then read again and now I feel like a genius. -
I wish you were the local police. I would rob all the banks with hair dye as my only disguise.

He looks like he was born wih a hockey stick in his hand.

I think just making the second round is equal to Stanley Cup for Vokoun. He's played only five playoff games during his NHL career.
-
So why didn't we get him then? Holland is looking for a goaltender and Vokoun knows that Wings have only one goalie signed. Do you think Holland is stupid and doesn't know what's going around in the league? Vokoun wanted to sign for a team where he's the clear number one goalie.
-
I think the Vokoun deal is the surprise here. It seems to me that Vokoun got desperate with so few good teams left. He has enough money already. Now he wants to win for a change.
-
No. There was Phoenix with two mediocre goalies signed for two years and one-way. I'd say they need a goalie, but don't have room. Phoenix made the playoffs two years straight with Bryzgalov. I wouldn't be surprised them being out of the post-season now.
-
Damn, Vokoun really wanted to play for a winning team.
-
Fairly obvious I think. Macdonald has already stated that he won't be back.

Wings sign D Ian White to 2-year, $5.75m contract

So now we have two new handsome Canadian defensemen who can hit and fight. *drool* -

Whoops, my bad. Seven it is. I'm counting Smith as the first call-up, so Janik is number 9 in my books. -

So now they have 14 forwards and 8 defencemen. If a trade doesn't materialize then the worst forward after the camp is gone either by trade or by waivers or, in case of clearing waivers, in the AHL (Emmerton). MLive -
