Sorry, Andy. First I thought that your idea was very interesting, but then... most of the players Wings have ever had on their roster are from Canada, USA, Sweden, Russia and Czech Rep. That's five countries and I'm too lazy to go and count, but it seems to me that there only about 20 players from the other countries. That's why everyone would have players like Boldirev, MacLean, Thomas and Myrvold on their team. Not much variation and room for creativity and opinions. No. There was Phoenix with two mediocre goalies signed for two years and one-way. I'd say they need a goalie, but don't have room. Phoenix made the playoffs two years straight with Bryzgalov. I wouldn't be surprised them being out of the post-season now.
