Oh come on, it looks like the last time this user visited this forum Kovalchuk was a still rookie. Now his password has been hacked and someone or something is posting advertisements using his account.

Hmm, alright. Red Wings' website and NHL.com say that he's a rookie. NHL.com top rookies "To qualify for rookie status in both the NHL and FHL, a player cannot have played more than 25 games in any single preceding season nor in six or more games (in any major professional league) in any two preceding seasons. A player also must not have reached his 26th birthday by September 15 of the season in which he is eligible." http://www.fhlonline.com/rules.html

a) He is a rookie, well at least officially he is. b) What's wrong with you? Of course I mean the opinion many people here had before these two games. There were many here who wanted to get rid of him even before he hadn't played that many games. Wings won't have kids who explode into the league mostly because they never draft in the top 15.

I agree. There's been a lot of talk how Wings need to grind their wins this season with so many of the last season's scorers gone. Tonight was like that with Howard doing some grinding in the net. The players in front of him even though being tired limited Canucks from getting many good opportunities despite carrying the play.

Naah, it wasn't that one-sided. They actually out-shot Canucks in both of the last two periods (13-11 and 11-6). That's what it's like when you've got a hot goalie.

Yeah, I don't miss the times when I had to always worry about where to find a working stream and then find another one or miss half of the game because it froze.
