Confusing. I'd love to see him end up playing this season in a competing and respectable team, but this kind of teams most likely aren't in the need of his services.

I don't know about their cap situation, but maybe the reason is that they already added three top six forwards in the summer.

Wow, he was my favourite when I was a kid in the 90's.

Poor fella. I feel bad for him. Legace played 51 games during 05-06 and 41 games during 03-04 with great stats. I think that he has the ability and skill to be a good number one goalie in the NHL. Well, that hasn't happened. I'd like this thread to stop on the surface and not become a cruel analysis of his mental abilities. That has been done here before and I don't think it's nice to kick a man when he's down.

A nice read. I noticed a mistake though. The article says this about Osgood: "The veteran netminder has won 31 postseason games over the past two seasons." The writer must've forgotten Hasek and his two wins in the 1st round of 2008.

Yeah, a great game by him. He's never had any proper chance to play many games in a row in the NHL. Who knows if he'll turn out to be a fine netminder.

I know about hockey's history in NA. What I mean is that to me hockey is about winning and teams win by scoring more goals than the opponent. Anything besides scoring goals can be questioned. That's why I asked why this "bell" needs to be answered. There are so many different versions of the unwritten rules of hockey that one shouldn't care about them very much.
