A fan favourite like that could easily work in media. It would be weird to see him interviewing his ex-teammates. Maybe he could make the interviews more interesting. He had a great career. Too bad that he lost his legs during the last few years. The few games he played last season he just seemed to throw the puck away as soon as he got it as there was no way he could carry it anywhere.

I was just being goofy. Actually my opinion on this whole matter is that it doesn't really matter. I'm not very happy about Hudler being treated the way he has here lately. Luckily the opinions of unknown people don't matter unless you're trying to be elected for something. I have nothing against of chatting about players' personal lives and mistakes to pass the time especially since it's summer, but none of us can judge Hudler and expect it to mean something.

Yep, but he won twice in New Jersey ('95 and '00) and just once in Colorado ('96).

I didn't know hockey players had sex... On a serious note. What if the hookers were more beautiful than his girlfriend?
-
That's only one interpretation. I don't see what's wrong with him saying that he wants to have a bigger role on a team and to get that he needs to go to a team that doesn't have as many stars as Red Wings.

The first thought when I read the title of this thread was: Andy Moog. Many of those bring back memories when the most I could see of NHL was in player cards or sports magazines. Of the ones not mentioned here yet I like Corey Hirsch's, Trevor Kidd's and Blaine Lacher's as the compliment so well with their teams' colours. Edit: Some that maybe should've been there: Felix Potvin Here's an article of Cam Ward doing a tribute to Potvin with his equipment: The Hockey Lister Stephane Fiset It's kind of fitting that Ron Hextall had church bells in his mask.

If idiots could fly this place would be an airport.

Are you referring to the false information (2 years, $5 million) in the Sportsnet.ca article?
-
TSN.ca In 2008 playoffs McCormick went into history as being the first fightee of Darren McCarty after McCarty returned to Red Wings.
-
That was one weird team. Tikkanen, Dale Hunter, Craig Berube and Chris Simon.
-
Oh, come on. I is never we. Only yesterday someone here wrote that most Wings fans want Chris Chelios to take Brad McCrimmon's job.

They were both free agents. Otherwise there would probably be some noise already. I think it's refreshing that NHL doesn't have a monopoly anymore. Who knows what happens in the future, but the league existed for decades without players from outside North America. In 2008-09 Ville Peltonen earned 1.2 million Dollars on Ossi Väänänen earned 1 million Dollars.
-
HCDinamo.org Translation: During 2008-09 Peltonen (36) played in Florida Panthers and Väänänen (28) in Philadelphia Flyers and Vancouver Canucks. Minks already had five Finns in their roster which makes the former NHL'ers transition easier.
-
I only know that he's a free agent and he doesn't know yet if he'll stay in North America. He wants to.
-
I just came up with this website: NHLFinns.com There's a nice picture on the front page. I bet most Wings fans remember that play.
-
Oh, come on.
-
TSN.ca article He is 26 years old and he scored 21 points in 53 games with Senators last season.
-
Drooling looks natural on him.
-
Why don't you read the thread and the articles before you drool your replies?

You fellas are weeeird. The sum of the offer has not been confirmed anywhere. The Wings need a forward who can play 2nd and 3rd lines. Jason Williams can do that. Plus, who knows how many contract offers Holland has done this summer. Williams might be just one of his many options.
-
Oh no. A rumour. An outrage.

I think that was one of the best Hitler videos I've seen. "Sundin sucks because Abba is from Sweden."

What planet are you from?

Kiprusoff might not be the second best Finn in NHL, but he's still a workhorse and probably the second most important player for Flames. Hmm... Maybe he is the most important player for them. Flames without Iginla might still be able to do something, but without Kiprusoff they'd be in trouble.
-
Don't worry, he will be traded away soon. That's why he was signed for five years.
