I just realized that I live in the same city as Rajala. Too bad he's propably in Montreal now. I could do some scouting for you tomorrow. Maybe check his weight and height and take a wrestling match with him.

He was shaking a lot when he announced that trade. Other than that he seemed quite happy being there tonight.

Good. This is why I think it makes sense that Wings are always trying to draft the most skilled player available and also as many of skill players as possible (this is why they dropped down three picks to get an extra 3rd rounder). Players can become bigger, stronger etc. but they won't make the Wings' roster without skill. Plus, grit players can be attained by other ways like Cleary, Maltby, Draper and Drake (his '07 comeback). Skilled players are harder to come by.

TSN.ca/NHL tells you who got who. Lots of Canadians and Swedes. You can't tell yet how good the kids will be. The future will tell us. I really want Wings to draft only small Europeans who are soft, don't speak a word English and have strange customs. Just so that LGW could entertain me for a while.

That's a good trade. Almost a free third rounder. Some teams have s***ty scouting so they can give away their late round picks. Quite funny that all the wait and then this happens.

Yep. Last year I was somewhere and before that I don't think there were internet streams. Anyway, for a person living in Finland this is difficult to follow. It's 6 AM already. To how many days is the draft divided?
