That's a great picture. I'm glad he's finally gotten some recognition. I've never seen the text on the Cup that close. Funny to see that someone's made mistakes on Woodcroft and Holmstrom and then had to cover them. -
I just watched it again. It was quite a tantrum and Malkin dangerously swung his stick at first, but I didn't see him attacking the referee. Where did you see that?

I don't think Malkin did anything worth a suspension.

I don't care if his game is getting worse and who knows, maybe he scores 60 points next season. Some players play bad sometimes. Some players even have bad months or bad seasons. I like him and I'd like him even if he scores an own goal on purpose. I've been a fan of Red Wings so long that I've become fond of the players. People get their kicks from different things. If someone likes to have an obsession with and criticize an athlete, then why not. I spend my time concentrating on things that I like instead.

I understand him. Even though Hossa is free to think choose as he likes, of course Penguins want to prove that he doesn't have better possibility to win Cup in Detroit.

Sure he's slow and not good defensively, but still has his purpose and 2 million isn't very much. His cap hit is 1.86 million. I think it would be nice if he, Lidstrom, Maltby and Draper would never be traded.

Yeah, it's refreshing to see an opposing team's coach that doesn't cry. That's bad for the photoshop thread, but I think Penguins give us enough material for that anyhow

Another good thing is that Penguins will also play, so both teams will be equally tired. Pens swept Canes so of course they deserve the three day rest as opposed to Wings' two. You can't tell anything before the series starts, but Wings depth should help them on a rough schedule. If Crosby and/or Malkin get injured/tired what do they have left?
