I don't know about that. The announcers are still commenting some of the plays that lead to penalties. Weird. To me it looks like the people who do their replays just can't find the right play quick enough as they have only few seconds. Or maybe they just don't care as commercials are more imporant anyway. I remember even FSN misses some penalties, but not nearly as often.

I hate it how often TV broadcasts don't show replays of penalties. If I'm following a game I want to know what's going on. It seems that penalties are considered a minor part of the game which it definitely isn't.

Quenneville said that Kronwall left his feet. It's hard not to when you go full speed and run into someone who's crouched lower than you. From these screen captures you can see that Kronwall didn't leave his feet until he was already made contact with Havlat. He is not jumping, he is leaning. The power of the hit made Kronwall leave his feet just as it made Havlat fall down.

Stupid that Wings stopped trying after they tied the game at three. With continuing the pressure they would've won the game. -
Funny how all those players' pro careers are from 90's and 00's (well, Hasek was a league MVP in Czech Republic already in late 80's). When you think about all time greatest North American players you have to consider ones like Howe, Orr and Richard. This poll has quite a NA view in it as before 90's there weren't many Europeans in the NHL.

They were third in points in West with 15 points above the ninth team in the standings. If I remember right they spent the whole season in the top four in West. I agree with this thread, even though I don't usually hate any hockey players (outside Claude Lemieux), I was much more angry during the Ducks series. Blackhawks don't really have that kind of elements in their team and I think that can be seen in the Photoshop thread. Eager and Burish are butt monkeys though.

I think it's nice to watch coaches and players talk after the game even though the questions are usually quite boring. Especially Babcock still manages to come up with good answers. -

I presume they supposed to show just any replays of the game while waiting for the interviews of Blackhawks' players. The random replay happened their first goal. -
