Phew. Damn this broadcast made it difficult to follow the game. I never saw a proper replay of the hit by Lilja so I can't say if I agree with the referees. Also each shot in the shootout was from a low angle and you couldn't see what happened until the replays.

I won the Manly Cup on my 4th season! I'd like to be able to change my roster during the season too, not just in summer.

More goals equal more viewers? Perhaps. Where does the NHL need more viewers? Is it good for the game? I think it's important that anyone who wants to watch hockey has a chance to watch the game, that's all. What does it matter which sport has the most viewers? Sure everyone who's involved want more money, because it's nice to have money. You can buy things with money. You can do lots of things with money. Now, which matters more, money or hockey? I'd love it if in the game there wasn't so many penalties with player just lightly touching another player with their stick. If you must have more goals it's a dumb way to get it by forcing more penalties. Doesn't making goalies equipment smaller do the thing? I'm fine with games ending 2-1 or 3-2. Goals are nice, but if game ends up 7-6 my amount of entertainment has most likely been diminished by bad calls or bad defending that have led to this.

Williams had 20 goals and 58 points in 05-06. Trading him for Kyle Calder was a waste just like the Bertuzzi trade.
