Thank you all for being so gracious in defeat. I can't say that you get this kind of treatment if we had lost. This is what hockey is all about. This series was one for the ages, one I know I will remember and cherish for a loooong time. Again, and I can't be more sincere...Thank you. See you next year!

Honestly, I have no clue as to why. If the pens have won the cup last year I could say yea, in some sort of way why, but I have no clue as to why. l feel that Crosby, good in a way is not the best in the league. there is waaaayyyy to much talent in the league to crown him the leagues best player. The only thing I can say for crosby is that he is an above average player that has good publicity. He is though, the ultimate team player from what I seen so far, almost everything he does he tries to benefit the team whether Right or wrong, I don't fault him for that like so many others do. Imagine the pressure he is under from both league and team as the face of the league and captain of the team. I am not making any excuses for him as sometimes he is embarrassing himself, the team and league and some pens fans that truly love the game of hockey but, he's not doing anything different than anybody else, it's just magnified more. peace.

Nope, I don't think we have the momentum, just because of 1 period of bad play. We did not score in the third...even and just as you said, a dogfight of major up and downs....and I just gitty with all this great hockey being played...also looking forward to tonight..GO PENS

No not at all, either one of the games at the joe could have gone to either team, just like at the igloo, Just my opinion though. The wings are not lucky, they are just that good. I love the way they play. every team has good days and bad...not matter how good they are. If the pens win this series it will be because they were lucky. If the Wings win this series it's because they were supposed to. Pens fan, hell yea, you a wings fan? Hell yea.

Pressure is going to be on both teams to win this game for sure as this game will almost seal the series for whoever wins it. I would think more pressure would be on the Wings simply because they are supposed to win, and everybody except for pens fans saying they are the better all around team, depth, experience and determination. The pens have already won the 2 games they were supposed to win in this series, and actually, should have taken on of the games at the joe thanks to a few lucky bounces. Nothing disrepectful, just another view.

Just my opinion, I can't speak for others...The first 2 games where utter shock, at least to me. "shock & awe" to be exact. Detroit does not suck, Just maybe backing our team so to speak.

I really have not listened to the coach, just the players comments. I think maybe he did not prepare the team correctly for this series. maybe trying to cover up for that mistake by blasting the refs' calls or non-calls. Other than that, he has shown he is able to motivate the team or individual players when he has to. Whining about the refs. is unprofessional. Just can't take that we lost I guess.

We got a lucky bounce, something we have not had this series.

It's funny how so many times fans from Pittsburgh are called trolls, some may be, but not all. I also find it funny that you guys keep bringing up KC. That's funny. That was motivation to get the new arena. Crosby, Malkin were a bonus to speed up the process. Fair weather fans, let's be real, every team has those not just Pittsburgh. The wings are on the verge of winning the Stanley cup, and yet, you still can not sell out. Coming to the red wings forum an beating our drum might not be the smartest thing to do, but telling us to f***-off when a legit question is asked or a rebuttal is showing lack of respect or how young you are. s*** calls have happened on both sides, I've seen a lot of non-calls also that go either way. but we don't talk about the one's that go your way. But again, red wings forum what would you expect. Same goes for the pens forum. I love the game of hockey, this is a fine series with alot of emotion. It might not finish the way I would hope it would, but I think this is the best hockey I've seen in years. Good luck in tonight game by the way. May the better team win.

If I may, without any ridicule add to this civil thread. Last night was an amazing game, I can only express my joy when we scored in regulation to tie. The wings are an amazing team, being that we here in Pittsburgh have not seen the wings the past 2 years, who new what to expect. times throughout this series it seemed that you had 100 guys on the ice to our 5, what I mean the wings hustle. I think that shocked the Pens in the first 2 games. on the ref's, ... I don't know, this is not the first time inconsistent penalty calling has happened. it's been going on for years now. Fans bitching and coaches, players or entire organizations complaining seems to fall on deaf ears at the NHL offices. The hype before this series was intense, both teams were supposed to be mirror images of each other. I thought experience was going to be the difference. That was not the only thing different. Wings play a possession game much better than the penguins could have hoped for. the wings SPEED is awesome. Zet/Dat are great 2 way players. The pens have not faced a team with that kind of speed during the playoffs. Ottawa had not chance without some of their key players. NYR had flashes of speed but could not sustain it. Philly, No speed and Bad luck, the best series we had to give us a test. Pens and their fans were shocked, Including Myself. Quite a job your wings have done so far. Prediction....7 games Detroit wins.

I could not say, I was not following that series, but I'll take your word that no they did not. I can't speak for Therrien. He's doing what he feels he has to do.
