For me, I dunno. He really seems humble in the Tim Horton's commercials. And the Nike commercials. And the Gatorade commercials. And the 200 times they interviewed him in the last couple of weeks.

Brian Burke's lifetime of evil transcends the 20 minutes or so you hold your breath when Pronger is on the ice. It's amazing how two weeks ago, everyone wanted to force Raffy to waive his NTC and play in Florida or somethign and now he's Bobby Orr. If I really wanted to cheer for the Wings, I'd have hitched my bandwagon to Sweden.

I really don't know if he's got the skill to warrant the kind of money being thrown at him. The injury thing is a huge red flag for me, too. Calgary should have some other team overpay him in the off-season.

Next we're going to hear something about Zach Parise's dad being (ugh) a Canadian. The horror! I'd heard this before, like around his first year after the draft. Pretty shocking stuff and I'm glad he was able to make it out of that. Patrick O'Sullivan's dad is a total dick, too. He filed restraining orders against him. -
I'd agree with the guy who said that VK would have been a good player for this type of game. Imagine Konstantinov, in his prime lighting up Crosby with an giant open-ice hit? That would have been epic and I don't think the game is 7-3 for Canada with him on the ice. Nice job, Canada, and on to the next.
