Yeah, i never understood how these hold up? If the ref 2 feet away doesn't see a penalty, how can the ref about 100 feet down ice see it and call it fairly? I think the closest ref should have to concur for it to be considered a valid penalty call because from 100 feet away there are plenty of other skates and sticks obstructing your view and you might not have seen what you THINK you saw.

Yeah i was gonna comment on this as well but I figured, whats the point? I call out at LEAST 5 of these every game that go both ways....NHL refs plain out ******* suck.

this is BULLs***....thats twice now that the ref had to have CLEARLY lost sight of the puck but didn't blow the whistle

watching the replay....there was almost a full second left when cleary put it in. the clocked didn't stop til .2 though.

Agreed, he just needs to bulk up a bit. He can be a good player but i think is major weakness is his strength. He's very weak in the legs and in the upper body.

Ok good, I don't like to pick on any wings player by themselves but leino just doesn't seem to have the upper body strength to compete down low and in corners. He looks like a pinball bouncing between a couple bumpers lol.

In reg season, i agree. He just gives up on plays too easily. In the playoffs....no, he'd make that save cuz he's beast come spring time.

is it just me or does leino always look like a ragdoll out there? Hes always being bounced between like 2 opposing players and doesn't seem to have either the will, or strength to push back.

why is it f***in ok for the ref a good 150 feet away to call a penalty when the one 3 feet away doesn't call it?
