Yep, the defense, even while making rookie (ericsson) mistakes, and dumb (lebda) moves, is on the rise. It's our offense that is losing us games now, not defense. Howard isn't making it easy on the other teams either. Honestly, i'm kind of glad that babs has thrown Jimmy into the fire. It was sink or swim time and it looks like Jimmy is learning to swim. Now, if we could only get the young forwards to step up like jimmy has. Here's looking at you leino.

Overall, our offense isn't playing BAD...they're just not finishing. Our defense is making too many mistakes though...and howard has bailed them out time and time again.

Yeah but conks didn't SHOOT the puck, he was passing it along the boards. The puck was under him yes, but the puck was chipped in before the whistle blew.
