Because ever since sweden, despite that HUGE softie in OT against pheonix, Ozzie has played well IMO As far as J Ho goes, I think he will have something to prove tonight and have a great game finally showing us what he can do.

I dunno, that hit (knee to knee) on gonchar looked like an accident but then again it also looked like ovie could have pulled his leg back in to not make contact. I wouldn't definitely say he did it on purpose though.

yeah...that looked more incidental than anything. at least he didn't get the suspension that artchukyin got...or however u spell it lol. Thing is, I see plays like this every game. Why is the NHL getting so anal about slew-footing all of a sudden when things like this have always gone on?

I predict that J Ho will want to prove himself badddd tonight, and with a banged up avs team especially after their loss of a key player in last nights game..I'm predicting Howard will shut alot of people up tonight and the wings will pull out a pretty big win.

Furthermore I don't understand why everyone thinks that Lils coming back will magically solve all the defensive problems. He's been out like 8 months, and when he's/If he's reinserted into the lineup, he's gonna need some serious readjustment time to get his game going again. He's not gonna magically pop back up into the same form he was before the injury. My guess though, It's been this long...He's not coming back...sadly.

First goal, legit as they come. Second goal...ehhh I'm not so sure. You could make a couple arguements either way here. When the ref lost sight, why wasn't the whistle blown? On second thought, DID the ref even lose sight? Just cus we couldn't see it from our angles doesn't mean the man standing 2 feet away didn't see it somehow. Also, Was ozzie pushed in along with the puck? Yes I believe he was, but again we had dats and lebs pushing the yotes players at him so that could go either way. Last, at first they thought the puck may have been kicked in because prucha I believe was in fact making several kicking motions at ozzie's pad/the puck, but again there's no clear view on the replay to say whether he actually kicked it in or not. The call on the 2nd goal could have gone either way but IMHO the refs made the right call on that one. It was a tough call. The ONLY valid argument I could bring is that IF HE lost sight of the puck it shoulda been whistled. But we don't know if he still saw it down there or not. The OT goal....ozzie shoulda had that. There's absolutely NO EXCUSE to miss that save. You could tell ozzie was a bit pissed (at him self or the refs? who knows?) for that 2nd goal, and I think it broke his concentration because up til that point in the game he played lights out. Either way you look at it, the only softie ozzie gave up cost us the game unfortunately.

See, having played goalie for 2 seasons (i wanted to try it out, i'm a true left winger/power forward) i actually did this in practice. I had a reflex to duck my head when the puck came near it so the team pulled a mighty ducks on me and tied me to the net and they all took high shots at me until i no longer felt the urge to duck once i took a few in the mask and realized it wouldn't come through and crack my face lol. I could see this being true.

Which we very well may if Lilja doesn't make a recovery soon. So let me get this straight, he's on LTIR, so his cap number doesn't count...and he's a RFA after this year....so if he can't play , thats it? He just walks off and thats the end or how does that work?
