We are really needing another power forward with holmstrom coming up to the end of his career and he seems to just be getting to battered to do what he used to effectively anymore. We need that young guy who can eventually step in on the 1st line and PP for screens, tip ins, deflections etc. IT'd be nice to have one like franzen who can also move the puck well and just power his way to the net if need be.

I saw a red wings shirt in 2 stores yesterday. Its a black shirt, and on the front in big bold letters it says "BEAT CHICAGO" and underneath there is a wings logo. On the back of the shirt it says "AGAIN..." lol...I had to buy one. I've seen random wings shirts popping up everywhere lately. anyone else seen any other interesting ones?

Yes we can. The d wasn't really the problem. We had 2 games to take the cup and our offense didn't show up. 1 goal 2 games in a row is unacceptable with all the offensive firepower we have. Not the D's fault, or ozzie's fault. The forwards didn't show up to play end of story.

Thats just it. The league has come out and said they're not calling it fair, they're calling it even. It's bs. They need to call a penalty when it is earned, not when it keeps the PP's for both teams around the same number for the game. It's a joke.

Why do people feel the need to be assholes to people just because THEY'RE superstitious? Not everyone believes in superstition so why be so intolerant of those who don't? It's like religion in a way. If you're christian, do you automatically hate everyone who is of any other religion? No, if you're superstitious fine, but don't be dicks to those that aren't.

Has anyone had the thought that he (franzen) might have some kind of injury which is slowing him down? Also, Hossa seems to want to be a playmaker all of a sudden. Instead of being a sniper/dangler like he naturally is, He's trying to be a playmaker most of the time. Instead of shooting, he's dishing it off and turning it over alot. Alot of time when he does shoot, he does it at aweful angles. His snipes are soo effective either in the faceoff circles or in the high slot, but everytime he controls the puck he skates one handed with it back to the point and stays outside instead of failing to be a ***** and using his size to break in lower for the shot. Just my thoughts.

We openly allow the pens fans to come here and post. I have had a letsgopens name since last may....used it quite a bit and never stirred up crap there. I just posted something that was in agreeance with what they were talking about then go back to read it to find my post deleted and a message saying that they were deactivating my account for being a wings fan....that just shows no class to me. What are they afraid of? I've never gotten a warning or anything and have always posted respectfully....silly birds.

Someone there made a post about reffing inconsistencies and was complaining about malkin's elbow on franzen being a weak call and that maltby was allowed to get away with murder in game 4. All I said was that I wasn't going to agree or disagree about certain calls but I would be the first to admit that officiating inconsistencies ruin the game for alot of people including me and that if the rules are written in black and white, they should be called in black and white. No matter what team it is on. How that is a bannable and deletable post i'll never understand...oh well
