Its kind of hard for our offense to show up when they're in the box for bs the whole game, and getting tripped and hooked left and right w/o calls. 2, yes TWO breakaways now where there was a hook or trip with not even a PP let alone a shot.

Yeah, the wings might actually be able to get some off goin if they weren't in the box for BS....and the flames getting away with everything...including tripping on breakaways...twice.

yeah hank hit him but the puck went in before the net went off...but i've seen a good half dozen penalties on the flames go untouched, not to mention 3 of which were JUST before they scored

I'd stiill call it superstitious because you're doing a routine. Even though you might not have a real reason set for doing it, subconsciously you're probably thinking of it as some form of luck...the jersey thing though...well, you know lol

You have some good points dude (or lady, not sure sorry) , I completely forgot about the picks we'd get for hudler being a RFA and Helm (a cousin through marriage) , abdelkader (played a few games with AND against the guy and let me tell you, Jabby is a beast. I'm 6'4 225 and he just manhandled me all over the ice) and leino are very capable replacements especially given that they all have VERY minimal experience. What happens when they get the games under their belts? Their play can only go upward right? So looking at it with your logic, it really doesn't sound as bad as I thought in the first place. Thanks for the positive insight...it made my day : ) and no thats not sarcasm lol

To be honest...and don't get me wrong, I LOVE hossa playing here but, Look at what we'd lose to keep him. With just his salary (possible contract) alone we could keep franzen and Hudler, or right about there anyways. We'd be able to resign leino and still keep sammy who, takes a lot of crap from us fans but in his defense he happens to be in the right place at the right time more often than not and I see only him on a consistent basis willing to stick up for ozzy. I for one am sick and tired of having our goalies run at only for our guys to just cut back away from the net and shy away from it. Sammy on the otherhand always skates right into the scrum no matter who is in there and will get his shoves and jabs in. Personally, Franzen/huds/leino/sammy - greater than hossa. Hossa is great, don't get me wrong but I think having depth on a few lines is better than having that star on one line. ALSO if you look at it...I see franzen with 30 goals, huds with 21? , leino with like 5 and i'm not sure about sammy but to me that number outweighs hossa's 36 goals no matter how you look at it.

Maybe i'm just out of the loop of missing something but why are we putting D men as forwards instead of calling up helm/and or leino again? Are they at the max games played before permanantly counting as the cap or something?

i agree dude, this is absolutely unacceptable. Ozzie barreled over 3 times in a row and not only was there a bad goal, and 2 missed calls, but nobody will fight for ozzie so the little guy has to do it himself....and OHHH now we get a PP...

first of all, that last goal was bs....goalie interference and then another one was let go before that....and now they hit ozzie again but oz was pissed and took a few shots haha

I say we give them sammy. If the hockey gods ever get attacked, sammy can't seem to miss the chest.
