Awesome OP. I remember when I was about 15, my team made it to the final round of a local tournament. The finals were played at none other than Joe Louis Arena. We even got to use their locker room. It was probably the single best experience of my life haha. -

OP I saw exactly the moment you referred to on wingspan. It was kronwall doing bench presses and they close upped his face and his teeth were seemingly smoke stained. I thought the same thing to myself.

Yup, Gaborik knew full well who he was tangling with, yet he was the first one to throw the gloves to the ice. Not carcillo's problem marion didn't' just back down. and props to Gaborik for not backing down as well. I have to say though, I would absolutely CRINGE seeing someone like hank or pavs do the same thing lol.

i absolutely LOVE how the announcers were gettin on carcillo for goin after gaborik. Watch closely...who drops their gloves first? Yeahhh, gaborik throws his first glove down before carcillo threw the first punch. It's not like carcillo wailed on him either...he won the fight but we all know he could have done much much worse to marion.

Yeah, I think one of the biggest things holding it down is the fact that people find it as a joke. Everytime you see NHL highlights on the news you see some botched call. When people see that they immediately think ahh what a joke, and change the channel.

I've actually been putting together a design for one. What I want to get is The wings logo sitting near the detroit D with the stanley cup breaking between the two of them. On the cup I want to write every year they've won in my lifetime, and If/when they do it again....I'll add that year.

I actually wish once the goalie came so far out of the crease...he was fair game to be layed out just like any other skater. Are the goalies such sissies that they can't take a hit?

I love how all the habs on the ice immediately go after him. Maybe if price wasn't 20 feet out of the crease while an opposing player was FLYING towards the puck, he wouldn't get smoked. He deserved the hit even though Janssen tried to avoid it if he could. I also love how conks comes out just in case it pops off haha.
