You can't win 'em all. The Wings are bound to make a few moves that the fans do not agree with considering the strong track record. It's just part of the business.

We, the fans, need to make sure we do not get too cocky. If we win tonight I will feel a lot better personally, but we all know how Nashville had us at 2-2.

I live near the Ohio/Pennsylvania border in a region where Cleveland has the majority of the sports fans but there is also a very significant Pittsburgh base. That having been said, we see Steelers apparel all the time; with the Browns being classically bad (until last year) it made sense for the fair-weather types to wear Steelers gear. What amazes me is the absolute lack of Penguins and Pirates apparel by these same fans; at least until a few days ago. Now that the Penguins are good again the Pittsbugh "fans" are popping up all over the place! I understand that it's easier being a fan off a good team, but this has the recipe for labeling most Pittsburgh fans as fair-weather fans.

The only leaping I saw was the red Wing fans leading for joy after we scored on Fleury!

Did anyone order pizzas for the players later at night too? How about TPing the hotel?

Agreed. The Wings have been finding picks much lower (Datsyuk & Zetterberg are two great examples) while Pittsburgh picked 4 straight years in the top 5. That having been said, the Pens didn't screw those top picks up - they deserve credit for doing their jobs I guess!

A few clever ones - not great though. I hate the pokes at the NHL...

If Franzen plays 3+ game in this series i cannot see him scoring like he did in the Nashville and Colorado series. He may bee good for several minutes/game and a goal or two, but nothing crazy like before (hope I am wrong!).
