it just shows how important lidstrom was to the red wings. When he is on decline, the rest of the wings sinks too. Every legacy will end at some point.

it was mentioned in a swedish interview that lidstrom has an injury that cannot be fixed right now and must play with every game. Btw lidstrom is old now, there is nothing strange that he is on decline.

this happens every other game. Wings outshoot the opposition, yet cant score. wings must have the worst shooting % in the whole league. They play too many pluggers with no finish. time to do some trades.

Oh comon if you single out lilja for the 07anaheim loss, Datsyuk should get his fair share of the blame also with his stupid last minute penalty that resulted in a ducks goal and win. Plus lilja was stellar against pittsburgh finals in 2008, something that cannot be said of the 2009 defense against pens.
