exactly, without lidstrom's heroics last night it wouldnt been 5-0. Let's be real and realize hossa hasnt been the difference so far. If you dont think he doesnt need to step up youre delusional.

and datsyuk was much better? He took a late penalty that costed red wings big time. The guy was a playoff choker back then.

when was the last time red wings won a game when they were NOT outshooting the other goalie?

and as usual red wings has shot twice the amount of shots on the opposite goaltender and yet osgood has let in a couple on half of that. Book this as another loss.

hossa is just overrated. We won a cup with franzen, and now when hossa joined our team it seems chemistry isnt there anymore. We dont really need him which we proved last season.

I never understood why zetterberg is hated on these boards. Why do we have to have a 5 pages rantings that dats is better? It really sounds like Z is playing on a different team and not a red wing for life. -

dear jeff bridges, who do you think were better last playoffs? Zetterberg had more goals, he had more points and the NHL awarded him the conn smythe. (rightfully so) So Z isnt good when it matters? -

I remember him for beating the red wings playoff scoring record. He had more points in the playoffs then Howe, yzerman or fedorov had in a single playoff run. -

red wings has proven they can win a cup without hossa. And franzen was very important during that cup run. I'll just wait and see how things turn out this playoffs before making decisions.
