The Wings and Flames had back to back two years ago (Game 5 and 6). Game 5 was in Detroit, Saturday afternoon and then Game 6 was in Calgary, Sunday night.

Kind of off topic, but if anyone watched that game, why was the US goalie pulled with 40 seconds left in a 2-2 tie? Just wondering, because that seems kind of strange. -

After hearing the reports that the Las Vegas strip (??) and the Rose Bowl (???) would be possible locations, PTI on ESPN brought up the idea of letting the Capitals host it and the site would be at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. The pool is long enough and wide enough to fit the rink and I think it would be a great place to host it. The seating issues and sitelines could be an issue but it would be sweet to watch. -

PTI just brought this up, and they mentioned the idea of playing at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington DC. That would be a great place to play the one, if they want to give it to the Capitals. -
