Good post except there's no need for the "or lose" part. They aren't losing. The last 13 tries to wrap a series up in 6 they're 12-1....they won't lose two in a row in that situation.

None for me but I usually come up with several during the games we end up losing (during the 3OT game against Anaheim I was not allowed to sit during the overtimes and stupid stuff like that). Therefore my superstition is to not have a superstition during the game.

Why play The Good Old Hockey Game at the end of the game?

I had that stupid song stuck in my head for so long after Chicago scored their first home goal against us. Another question is why does Chicago play that song? The song has nothing to do with hokey and the band is from Scotland so I'm willing to bet they aren't Chicago fans...or hockey fans for that matter. -
I don't care what the team is like that the Hart winner goes to, but I don't really like the Conn Smythe to go to any player who did not win the Stanley Cup.

Since Pittsburgh is so great at everything and their fans are so great, how are the Pirates doing? Oh yeah, half a game out of last place. 14 straight losing seasons and counting. Not even the Lions are that bad. That original post talks about great fan support, but it appears the Pirates have been in the bottom 5 in NL attendance every year since 1981. They were last in the top 5 in NL attendance way back in 1972 (5th).

I agree with everything you said, but would like to add one thing. While it is true that Gordie Howe is not dead, I think it's safe to say that he will not do anything to disappoint Red Wings fans. Yeah, he played in Hartford for a few years, but the Red Wings are clearly his team and there is no way he'd ever do anything anti-Red Wing.
