Second period: Detroit outplayed them by quite a bit. Keep that up and they'll score for sure.

First period thoughts. Not a great start but we rebounded rather quick. The no-call on the too many men was pretty bad and the Penguins ended up with a goal on a power play right after that. Oh well. Still tied. Game has been pretty even. We've got more shots and tend to not be all that great in the first so I'm happy with the period.

I have a hard time believing he'll be ready Saturday. My sister had an endoscopic appendectomy last winter and was pretty out of it for a week to ten days. She's not as physically fit as an NHLer obviously, but she is young (20) and goes to the gym daily so she's not ridiculously unhealthy either. -
Maybe this year he can get his first name on there, too.
