No clue. Play it safe and fly in Friday and stick around for a while. I'm a Californian but from what I can tell based on my limited experiences in Detroit, it's a half-decent place to spend a few days.

If I keep telling myself I'm optimistic I will be optimistic at some point. I don't know how I'm going to make it until Friday. Last night I had dreams about tonight's game and kept waking up. Sometimes we were winning and sometimes we were losing. It made for bad night of sleep.

The biggest positive from the game for me is despite probably the worst offensive period I have ever seen the Red Wings manage (3 shots in one period?) and despite an almost equally poor offensive second, we still only lost by one goal. Looking forward, the biggest positive is of course game 7 is in Detroit. Nice try Penguins, but you've got no shot Friday.

Red Wings haven't played many good first periods lately. They will on Friday...followed by 2 more good periods.

I agree. When the Red Wings score first the Stanley Cup-winning goal will have been scored.
