So how about including the Griffins schedule with the monthly wallpaper? It's still Red Wings related, so the backdrop theme shouldn't matter. Maybe having a small logo and time for Griffins game in the upper left corner of the day box when they play. You wouldn't really have to say if they are home or not, since it really doesn't matter that much. Plus there is no TV channel, so that also saves room. This way when they play on the same days, that upper left corner won't affect anything else. Just something I'm sure people wouldn't mind knowing, since there seems to be a lot more discussion and interest with the Griffins lately.

Just go and re-watch the archive. It's around the 1:36:00 mark

Not if you're located in Detroit territory...then it's reverse.

As people said, the exact same thing last year with Dish Network. What do people do, get angry and switch to someone else. Then they see the same thing with their new provider a year or 2 later. No matter who have, Directv, Dish Network, Comcast, Time Warner, AT&T, Verizon, Cablevision, Charter, Bright House, Wide Open West, etc., etc., etc....there will always be contract negotiations that never get done before the cut-off date. Which pretty much only affects customers. No company goes out of business or has layoffs, customer base just swings away from that company temporarily until the next round of negotiations comes around for a different company. It's never really the providers faults, the networks/broadcasters demand a crap ton more money from the providers, which is always, ALWAYS gets passed on to the customer. It how it was with Fox and Dish Network last year, as well as NBC/Comcast (Versus) with Directv the last time too. Those channels eventually come back to the provider, just the customers have to wait around for one of the companies to give in....no matter who gives in, the customer ends up paying more for their subscription (not right away, but eventually). There is always 2 sides, and customers get stuck in the middle, having to decide who they favor. Really whoever persuades you first, customers are kind of like sheep....we'll follow one shepherd or the other. What can you do? Follow who you want, switch, wait, complain to get some free stuff (it works). Unless there is some kind of government intervention for rules on how these media negotiations are handled, we'll see the same thing again next year with another provider & broadcaster. Wings were not on NHLN last Saturday. First Wings game on NHLN this season will be this Saturday (vs Caps). Nearly every state (except Alaska, Washington and Oregon) is tied to a market for an NHL team. So for Montana, the closest US team would be Colorado. Those 3 are probably considered Vancouver territory, but can't get Rogers SNET in the states...so thus not blackout markets Canadian broadcasters haven't been allowing HD broadcasts on satellite (maybe cable too) with CenterIce for at least the past season. US satellite companies can't carry the channel full time, so there is probably some contract related issues which is why some (most, all) Canadian feeds aren't in HD. You can get VS, NHLN and NBC blacked out too...if you live in the regional market and the games isn't exclusive.

FSN Pittsburgh doesn't exist anymore, because it became ROOT Sports (along with 3 other channels). It became ROOT Sports because it was given to the DIRECTV group from News Corp (Fox Sports) for News Corp shares. So, Directv should be showing their own network. Root Sports Pitt - Channel 659 As for living in Helena, you should only be blocked from watching other feeds when the Avalanche play. I'd call up your provider and see what's going on, they might have you zoned incorrectly.

AHLLive has a scrolling update on games. Said network issues, so they weren't showing it.
-
It's not meant for people living (viewing) in the regional market, so if you live in MI you can't watch Wings games.
-
Just fyi, since I'm like the first one to say something in the GDT. I have Griffins archives now along with live stuff
-
GCL works on many things now. All you really need is internet and something that access the internet. computer, console, htpc/media center boxes, smartphones, tablets (computer/smartphone), I believe even some smart tvs have the ability to get it.

GameCenter Live comes with old games for free, with the subscription. Every game from the 2007/2008 season on, plus 500+ "classic" games dating back to the 60s. It pretty much has a majority of the playoffs games from the 90s and 00s.

I think Veemi server have a known history of doing that. Not sure if there is much you can do -
Last Tigers game I'll be streaming tonight since hockey is underway.
-
Yes, your region's sports team is blacked out on GCL since networks have the rights for that area. All boils down to viewership/ratings. Only cost saving options are free streams or your neighborhood sports bar if you don't have a cable/satellite package.
