No Ozzie on his first year eligible. Although having Hasek as a choice pretty much didn't give him a chance. Maybe next year?
-
But in all seriousness, he was a very good defenceman and although goofy I could see him commanding some respect as a coach.

Who is better..... in regards to the TSN Play of the Year? The finals have started today with both Wings players as the final 2. http://poy.tsn.ca Tatar's Goal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiMUFOARm2c Nyquist's Goal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4f8__aC9R_Q For those wondering last year's player (that's right, not plural) in the finals was Datsyuk. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=425997

I'll be showing the Tigers feed from now until sometime in Sept at my site, for those that use it.

Looks like the Slovakian's really want Tatar to win.

Wow, so many details here...just tons and tons of data to back that up. http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hockey/24581904/report-jim-rutherford-to-be-named-general-manager-of-penguins http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/06/report-jim-rutherford-will-be-penguins-new-gm/

For the entire POY vote they've had maximum of 1 vote per cookie session and IP. Those sessions do eventually timeout, as only your POST is going out, but not get tallied since the GET is not. I think they changed up their cookies session TTL, so you will have to reload after so long. That or they capped how many votes per day per IP.

Griffins move on to the next round, and for the 2nd year in a row has their opponent's last game ever played end on their home ice....in the first round. Pulk with a heck a slapper. Hogan with 2. Sheahan with 1 and Ferraro with an EN.

Lots of talk throughout this thread of the needed right handed shooter who can rip it from the circle. If only the Wings had someone who can blast it like this:

Right, it's a good thing they let teams still have their local broadcasts for the first round at least. Gotta love Ken and Mick. -

Don't count on it. It's been the NBCSN and TSN feeds the past 2 nights. -

Looks like Doc Emrick and Pierre McGuire will have the call on NBCSN. I feel sorry for those that won't be able to watch FSD -
What makes that more awesome, is if you look up the guys twitter handle (in upper right)....he's a Flyers fan. I like how he defined the East as Boston and Detroit.

Hope to see a lot of this:

Pretty good article on Nyquist, before yesterday's game. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nhl-s-hottest-scorer-gustav-nyquist-shooting-for-goals--glory---playoffs-after-starting-the-season-in-ahl-161232581.html Looks like he was prepared to take the long route to the NHL.
