Ok good you added my stream to the first post, hadn't seen in there for a bit. I'm pretty much the only one who streams Wings games, unless they're playing the pens, leafs, nucks, rangers, etc. I won't be around to monitor the stream, so hopefully nothing happens. Go Wings!

So I installed Windows 7 last night and didn't get a chance to test stuff out before game. I'm hoping it was just some driver issues I had which caused the choppyness. I'm testing stuff out now, so hopefully next game will be smoother. I'm not always going to have a perfect stream

Ok the Oct 27th game is up an running again. Also I am working on an archive thread for the griffins games (which will run through justin.tv), so keep an eye out for that in the griffins section.

Ok I think I've resolved all my little errors, mainly team abbreviations. The Nucks game on Oct 27th is currently broken on the archive server, but should eventually be fixed. I'll try to keep track of any issues like this and let you guys know

I'll look at creating another thread of all the archived games for this season so far. I'll try to do it in the next day or 2, I just wanted to see if there was any interest. Afterwards I'll look into working on previous seasons.

I'll be streaming from the NHL Network since I won't be around to turn on the NHL GameCenter feed. Hopefully they take the feed from FSD.

There will always be 2 sides to this argument when it comes to making a profit and growing the fan base. All in all I don't think the NHL cares too much on free streams, mainly because they are far inferior to the product fans can pay for. Most sites and services themselves remove sports streams due the infringement of their own Terms of Service, and to cover their ass from any potential legal action. Its sites like hockeystreams.com that really hurt the NHL, since they are taking a lot of income away from the NHL online streaming service. These people are willing to pay to stream games; instead it’s some random people in the Netherlands for live games when they could be paying the NHL for their authentic service. I think that does more harm than any free stream someone like me puts up. For a lot of streamers like me it's all about helping out fellow fans. For a long time I couldn't watch Wings games since I wasn't living in the Detroit area. One day I had enough and started searching the internet, that's when I found the myp2p community of streamers and was finally able to start watching games again. Thanks to this I really got back into hockey, for many years I wasn't even able to watch it on TV. I began going to games again (traveling to Chicago) and bought merchandise. I too started streaming games for other Wings fans and the cycle continues. Access to free streams can be very beneficial to bringing back lost fans.

You shouldn't use atdhe, like opie said they steal streams and in the long run ruin it for everyone. Essentially what can happen is if a stream gets put on there (which all streamers despise) it can make it so the stream is more susceptible to being taken down/banned. myp2pforum.eu is where streamers post what games they are showing and where. It's the better choice since it's a community of streamers and viewers for all sports. Plus there are updates on there about streams and if a location has changed, since it's coming directly from the streamer. I'm a part of that and I show (nearly) every Wings games for the past 2 seasons. My channel currently is http://www.justin.tv/redwingslive

I'm streaming the game again, same location as last time...see my sig for link and password. It is a flash stream, so that does mean it might not work well for everyone. If there's any questions I'll try to answer them. I tend to give LGW highest priority in terms of info, since I keep it updated in the sig. I'm streaming the game, I over slept cause I've been sick Unfortunately it's not FSD, but if it works for you I guess it shouldn't matter. People need to remember that I stream pretty much every game, however if flash services (especially since mines a higher bitrate) don't work for you very well it probably never will. oh and info will always be in sig

I think I’m pretty much the only one streaming the game tonight (one might popup right at game time). So you should use mine Info is in sig, and I have a very juvenile/immature password, but whatever...it changes from time to time. I also have to mention Lidstromboli has one of the funniest signature’s I’ve seen in a while. Cracks me up ever time.
