I would stay away from hockeystreams; they have some questionable business practices aside from taking profit away from the NHL. Not to mention there is the possible chance they will get shut down, they have admitted being an illegal operation and being protected by country law or lack thereof. I would say go directly to the source, it's a pretty good service and their new pause/rewind feature is nice. It's great quality that can be viewed on a connected TV and rarely has any problems. Just keep in mind that if you travel you will be blacked out for whatever local team you're near and pray that Versus/NHL Network isn't showing the game you want to watch. Although I'm sure some will disagree, but why not support the NHL since you do enjoy hockey and the Wings (who are a part of the NHL ). I know it probably doesn't make any difference in regards to the Wing's profits, but I'm all for supporting the league...even though it's being run by an ignorant little elf.

Those were a fluke, what you were watching was the stream directly from NHL GameCenter Live. Just you didn't have to log in or anything. That was fixed by the NHL and now anything you see on ATDHE is just stolen from another streamer that is using justin.tv or Ustream. To get that quality again you'll have to buy NHL GameCenter Live, it's actually better this season.

I was thinking the same thing. The Wings are always about bringing back ex-players. If Legace isn't playing over in Europe and Howard has pretty much fallen on his face, I could see Holland calling him up. Although he'd probably get offered league minimum or something close.

I'll be streaming the Wings game again over at Red Wings Live I should be covering every game just like last season. I also hope to stream Griffins games, however it depends on the cost and I may need a few more donations to cover it. That's up in the air for now, but I'll keep people informed.

I don't know, although I feel bad about it...it just doesn't come close to 06 and 07. I rank 06 as a little worse than 07 because of the Wings dominations that year to go out in round one against an 8th seed. Plus Yzerman went out on a bad note, that dreaded game 6....where he was pretty much the only one trying. 07 was sheer disbelief at how unlucky the Wings were with the calls and bounces when their play was often times exceeding the other teams So this year kind of sucks, but they made it to the end of the finals.

I didn't notice it at first, so I decided to read through all the names out of curiosity. I definitely laughed out loud.
