Detroit is getting great bounces. I couldn't believe Cleary's goal. I still haven't seen the Holmstrom goal, I left the room for 45 seconds and missed it. -

Just put in the DVD collection which has the Clinching game from 1997 Shanahan, Yzerman, McCarty Lidstrom, Konstantinov Maltby, Lapointe and Murphy were also on the ice at some point before Philly's goal.

Wow. So, no more trying to get the puck in deep when you're about to be on a power play? You just, hand it to them and they have to go all the way back? Why bother pulling the goalie for a 6th man then? Just skate off the ice for a line change and wait for the other team to touch it.

(AP)—Defenseman Ryan Suter talked about the pressure to live up to his new four-year, $14 million contract starting this fall when Predators general manager David Poile interrupted. “To your new contract,” Poile said. Suter resumed and finished, “To my new contract and just show up and perform every night, so it’s a lot more responsibility now.” Is it me or is this written horribly? I don't get what Poile was saying.
